Sorry folks but I couldn't help myself. I had to leave Archer, Returned G-mans post so I could remember. It'll always be okay in the long run.

Archer, G-man, returned, whatever. I know you love me and I've taught you the right way- to see the light. No more Kool Aid! But you don't have to stalk me. There's only one of me, and I'm taken. Sorry. If you had a bigger crossbow, I'd consider running away with you. We could of had it all and maybe even shot little crossbows together. But, your banned, so it's over. Boo-hoo. Parting is such sweet sorrow. LOL!

I just read this thread telling non MS residents to pretend they are residents and to email in support of crossbows. Thanks for the heads up. I sent an email below to the MS Bowhunters association. Thanks for spelling out the dishonest tactic. FYI, the whole world can see the pages of this site. I emailed my nation wide network alerting them to send emails to MS in opposition to crossbows. See ya next time around under a diff name. Your pal Archer.

I lasted far longer than I thought. I love you guide girl. You are so right about crossbows. I now understand the truth. I'm so sorry I'm so immature. Again, I'm so sorry. Love you girl for teaching me the right way. Archer

The message you sent Ridgehunter about the lost of his pet was really moving. It could have been written by me. Three and a half years ago during hunting season, someone dropped this 6 months pup at our hunting camp. Several members would feed it while were were there, but on Sun. we would all go home and leave the pup and on Fri. when all came back to camp he would still be there. This went on for several weeks, Sun. through Fri., every week. My husband and I decided to stay at camp for Christmas and this puppy came to stay under our truck at night. Jim, my husband, went out and brought him inside and he has been with us ever since. His name is C. D. and that is short for Camp Dog.

I just wanna say thank you for being part of this forum. It's members like you and so many that make this forum awesome. I'm looking forward to many years of service on this forum. As a disabled vetran recentaly discharged from the Marine Corps. I'm am very happy to see our members taking care of our vets. It makes even more proud to be a member of this forum and part of this family. The reason for a PM and not a post is I don't want anyone to think im looking for a free hunt cuz im not. I just wanted to say thanks to you and all involved. It's people like you that make what i have gone thru well worth it. God Bless

I sure enjoyed the pictures! I always enjoy your posts too. If you can make pumpkin pie along with the other stuff you do, you'd be the perfect companion! (Can you make pumpkin pie? :D )

One would think I would listen to the voice of experience from the start but I am pretty thick headed . When I first started hunting with my Horton 175 last season , I saw a post you made about what arrows to use and you said you buy the Horton aluminum arrows and screw on a Muzzy and shoot. Consistant enough you didn't sight in a new box of arrows. Well ! I couldn't take that advise and had to try several brands and makes. Spent a lot of money in doing so. NOW ! I have come to my own conclusion that I should buy the Horton aluminum arrows and they will be consistant right out of the box. Don't screw with them by adding expensive lighted nocks or nothing . Just shoot ! Although I have found a few that fly funny , most fly the same.

Maybe I'll learn someday to listen.

      Thanks for all your support.

I have always loved the outdoors. My first word was "Outside". That's where I like to be-outside enjoying the things GOD gifted me to see and do, while I continue to learn everyday.
In the past few years, I also donate my time and skills to work for the Texas Crossbow Hunters Club administrating, and I am a Director for the Texas Bowfishing Association as well as the State Treasurer. I represent the membership for south and West Texas.
I also shoot the tournaments as a 3 man team with my best friend Butch and his sister Dawn aka Oggie both members of the TCHC and TBA, and we are in first place for the 3 man team of the year. First time a woman has been in this position but better, we have 2 women on the team! Ha! Butch and the Soggy Bottom Girls Rock Texas!

Crossbow hunting, night hunting hogs, bowfishing, landscape and remodeling work, gardening, sewing including upholstery work. Networking outdoors everything. Gave up golf. It wasn't relaxing at all the better I got at it.
