Only 1 horizontal line can be sighted in by moving the line since all horizontal lines move together. Sight in the top line and then must find the distance the other lines are zeroed by shooting at further distances. Here is the approximate sight-in chart provided by Barnett.

Thanks from me as well. Very invaluable tool. Now, would you suggest as some others have, to sight in the top line at 10 yards, and use 10 yard increments for the others? Ie-10, 20, 30, 40, 50 yards?

when setting yardage it would also depend on how fast your Xbow is?My Barnett Penetrator shoots 355fps my 10yrd is the same out to 30yrd only drops a litte maybe 2 inchs. Now Im using a Carbon Express xb 3.5 and it shoots at 380fps and has very little drop out to 40-45 yrds.Im not a expert just what my experience has been with my Xbows.

I set the top cross-hair at the longest flat trajectory. I then step off till all the other crosshair has a setting. Record the distances on a tape and put on your stock for easy reference. With the use of a range finder this goes much smoother and if your between settings simply gap the cross-hairs. Did this back when Quad 300 came out and was set up to 73 yards. No telling how far these new crossbows would bottom out.

Thats how I did mine Fog :) It seems all these Xbow manufactures say the same thing but they use 300fps as a standard and the xbows most people are shooting shoot much faster. Range finder,Xbow and just start slinging down range is the best way ....JMO
