I'm looking for the latest in crossbow deer harvest numbers by state/provinces that have full inclusion.

So far I have ..

Virginia - 9,456

Tennessee – 6,198

Georgia – 9,564 (2005-06) Georgia combines all archery now

Maryland – 3,585

Arkansas – 13,175

Michigan - 25,000

Ohio – 49,057

Pennsylvania – ?

New Jersey - ?

Ontario - ?

ETC - ?

Can anyone here help fill in the blanks and add whatever state/province that you can?

The issue you may run into (as I have in researching it) is that many states don't track the weapon, just the harvest.

You can contact Texas Parks & Wildlife in Austin TX or online. They are also keeping track of public land, vertical bow and crossbow harvests and participation in seperate areas concurrently as an experiment this season. So, it may be best to get harvest numbers after the conclusion of this experiment if that is the direction you're desired information is needed. About the end of February they should be completed and published.

your Ar numbers are off.  varying bag limits about 3-4 w/ one buck, 5 mo archery season, xbows legal 30 yrs, no magic found yet.  Archery data includes xbow kills

08-09 total kill 184,991, archery 13,175 [7.1%] xbow 5203 [2.8%] [of total]
07-08 total kill 169,853  archery 12,356 [7.3%] xbow  5713 [3.4%]
06-07 total kill 165,663  archery 10,614 [6.4%] xbow  4608 [2.7%]
Move along now, nothing to see here
