The quietest I have heard is the Scorpyd RDT 125 at 370 FPS, but I would imagine the Scorpyd RDT 100 would be a little quieter at 330 FPS.

The Scorpyd 125 is a pretty quiet bow compared to the ones i have shot.I will let others answer the durability question. I have only had mine for a month. I have shot it a good bit and hunted with it. I'm am very happy with the bow and would buy again with out second thought.

Scorpyd crossbows are built like tanks.
All their parts are large scale and very robust.
They have a Type III finish that's virtually indestructible.
Doubt there's a stronger built compound crossbow available.
Go to youtube and type "Scorpyd" in the search block to view the videos.
The PSE Tac series seems to be built very well too but have no experience with them.

Quiet crossbows is oxymoronic. One may be a tad less loud than another, NONE are so quiet as a vert or that a deer won't hear it going off. Pick a bow for how it feels and shoots well for you, quiet it won't be regardless.

My 2 cents: Dont pick a crossbow strictly for sound. Everybody has their personal performance on what is important to them, but focusing strictly on sound is probably not a good idea. My personal decision focused on reliability, accuracy, and manufacturer's reputation.
