Is there a place to post and view personal items for sale?

Yes.  It's called the "Market Place".   It is not viewable for new members to post in until they have 10 or more posts.  We have it this way because we used to get people that wanted to join, make one post to sell something and never come back.  That is not what that room was intended for.  It's here so that active members can sell and purchase from other members.  10 posts isn't very hard to accomplish, once you get there it will appear.  We also monitor it for members that abuse it.

Sure glad I found this post, I've been looking for a 'classified' post for an hour!  I understand why this action was taken and now I guess, I need to be more 'involved' by posting rather than just reading.  Well, this is #1! lol  They need to post this instead of hiding it though. I typed 'classified & market place' into the search box and both kicked back, 'no results.'  Thanks!
