Has anyone tried this pack?  They are always out of stock at Bass Pro and Cabelas, in the stores.  Not sure if they are popular or they just don't stock them.

Thanks in advance.

I actually started a thread about these packs.....looking for input...got no replies...so I asked for one for Christmas.  I got it...and I'm impressed.  Plenty of storage...and it solves the problem of how to carry these things.  I'm not sure how well it would work with an inverted limb crossbow. like a Horton Vision or a Scorpyd, but it carries my Parker Tornado just fine.

From the looks of it, it should be a piece of quality gear. I read the reviews for the camera man backpack and all the reviewers gave it 5 stars.

The Crossover pack is an exceptional pack for carrying your crossbow.  It balances well on your back and the pockets provide enough room to carry all you need for your tree, or ground stand.  I would buy another one in a minute.

Thanks,

Thanks for the reply. I ended up getting the Ready Crossbow Sling and I think it will work well for me. It allows me to use what ever back pack I need for the day and it is a lot more comfortable than using a regular sling.

Last August my wife and I finally found one at Cabelas. (I haven't seen one there since!). In the last two years I have had three surgeries: 2-shoulder, 1-thumb fusion(which didn't heal well so I essentially have two digits held together by a screw... ) anyhow, it is difficult to hold onto just about anything with that hand...
So, given all the above, this pack has been a godsend to me. Especially when hauling feed/treestands etc...
However, it would be much better with shoulder/waist straps that are more substantial. It seems that Game Plan went the cheap route with regard to these features. Otherwise it is awesome!

Sounds interesting, but for me, one of these would not work when already carrying your tree-stand (Summit Viper) on your back. But when carrying your stand on your back anything extra is always a handful, vertical or crossbow. I use a fanny back that I keep turned in the  forward position. Then I put my other clothing attached inside the tree stand itself. I have a sling on my Parker Cyclone that does OK, but still it is an issue sometimes, so I see your point in being interested in one of these back packs.
