All archery season I have not seen a total of 15 deer, None close enough to shoot. Last nite I goto a place I have seen a 4 pt and 1 doe the same day, Other days there I have seen Nothing. I just sat down and put an arrow into my enforcer, Looked up and I see horns comming right at me. He gets behind some big trees and I do not see him for about 5 minutes. When he comes out he changed direction and was walking away from me. He goes about 15 yards, Stops for about 3-4 minutes 50 yards away. Then he turns left as to go up the mountain, takes about 10 steps and turns and starts heading my way. I was hopeing he would stop but he just kept trotting along as he gets closer I can tell he is not going to stop so I pick a shooting lane and he is past it before I could shoot, 1 shooting lane left and he is gone, as he walks in I aim at the center of his front shoulder and squeeze it off. I hear the thunk and I look at him and I see my arrow sticking out right behind the shoulder dead center for height, Next instant he is on the ground, My heart was goin crazy, I paced it off 33 yards, When I cleaned him somehow the arrow was in his spine.
Amazing how one good day can change the whole season. Today it is over. I feel very Lucky this is the biggest ever with a bow and he also was a piebald.

That great looking piebald was definitely worth waiting for. And I'm sure he made your season. Congratulations on your fine harvest. Dee :)

Good that you've got him. It is frustrating when you see them and you know they are there and that you just don't get a shot. Way to go.
