Does anyone know of any person or organization working specifically on Missouri crossbow legislation?

I am not aware of anyone or an organization. That doesn't mean there isn't someone though. Why don't you take the initiative?

Ah, an idealist. Ok, I'll put pen to paper and contact my congressman. But I will talk to God tonight, just in case.

I will. Just interesting to me that the American Crossbow Association is based in Springfield, MO and there doesn't seem to be much happening here. I've tried to find a web page for them, but all I can find so far is an address and phone number. I haven't called yet, but worried they may be non-functional. Just curious if anyone knew anything about them.
Thanks

I called DJH, as he's known, this a.m. got a recording [as usual] he's off and about until 01/09/11. He can do a number of things to help, one of which is print your contact info in next issue. There's some other possibiliteis too, but will let him discuss those w/ you. Fwiw, I agree w/ the quoted post, great magazine!
Good luck!

Not only will you see a great picture of Laura and her article of recognition but there's also a picture of yours truly in this issue. Mike P. has another fantastic article along with Bill T's regular "down to earth" column.
There's many other regular columnists who will reach out and grab you. The magazine is too good to put down. Once I start reading it I can't stop. It's that good!!!
I'm telling you folks, you are just plain missing out if you're not a member of the American Crossbow Federation.
Call Daniel today and join...tell him "Bobby" sent you!

Its time we open up Missouri's archery season. I was going to start but hey all the help we can get is better to battle the two state bowhunting organizations and I belonged to both of the years. Funny how a little objective facts can clear up things for you.

I can ride in the truck with y'all on this. I have a 5 yr disable permit even though its a lifetime problem. Mo. doesn't have the lifetime permits anymore & they ain't crossbow friendly at all. I can't lead but i can follow & help some.

I'm sending a letter to Missouri's Department of Conservation Monday. We'll see what they say.
