I bought a Barnett Jackal late last year and tried my regular Black Hole compound target. Sunk the bolts all the way to the fletching. Ended up using a soft blow hammer to drive them back out far enough to get hold of and pull out. Went to Academy and bought a target that would supposedly work ( employees there have no clue). Tried it with two bolts and had the same result as before. Took it back and got a McKenzie Shotblocker. Called customer service at Delta Sports while in the store and asked about the target as it is marked "Crossbow". The man I talked to seemed to be knowledgeable so took him at his word and bought it. Shot it with 20" bolts and field points. The bolts stopped about 5" before the fletching. Had h**l pulling them out. My grip isn't what it used to be. Ended up with some type of sticky rubber cloth that you use to remove lids from jars. That worked. I called the guy again and told him what happened. He told me I needed a "Lube Tube". I told him I didn't have a clue what he was talking about so he sent me one. Has anyone here used anything like that? I have not tried it yet and am just curious as to what works for others. I will say that

was very helpful and went out of his way to educate someone who is new to crossbows.
