Keep us updated on fletching design and all the variables with flight, speed, drop,... Sounds very interesting indeed BTW, those are the victory x bolts, 20", 4" fletch, flat nock

Im just trying to get up to speed on things. what I have learned so far only equates to different fleching are needed for different ranges and wind conditions. Also some are more forgiving for novice archers making up for flawed releases(corkscrewing).

There are so many brands and products out there.

My duplex is at 30 yards. It depends on your bolt setup. I shoot the excal fire bolts and a 100 grain head that I add about 10 grains to. The weight is roughly 360 ish per bolt with this current setup. I also shoot some 125 gr heads as well for a total weight of about 375 gr. Anyway, that is important. I put the scope setting slightly over 375 on the dial. This sets me up great at 40 50 and 60 on the rest of my lines, and very accurately as well.
Its not the kill, its the thrill of the chase

I had some arrows made up...total weight is 390gr. i was trying to get as close to 400 as possible. It shoots around 375ft/sec. it seems like the DTM375 shoots great with heavier bolts from what ive read...has anyone experimented with 400-500grn bolts or 22" ?? I would like to try to keep the speed around 350ft/sec i'm thinking it would be  around a 450gr bolt?

Maybe Gary Kehne will chime in. He has shot alot of various weight bolts from his, at least from what I have read from his post. Very knowledgable guy as well.
