The Cyclone no doubt is a high performance crossbow. We spec'd our cyclone string to 30 strands.
I understand the enjoyment of making your own strings, and adding custom colors etc, it is fun. However, a 1/8" difference in length can add or subtract weight from the crossbow, either adding undo stress to the components, or under performing the speed we hope you will enjoy.
Naturally, I would prefer you use a factory string for safety and performance consistancy.
If you prefer a custom string, I trust you will pay particular attention to controlling your quality and specs, as Parker does not warranty (a lifetime warranty by the way) components should failure be determined due to a modified string.
Best regards,

BTW, the strand count on the failed Cyclone string is 24....NOT 30.

What is the ATA?
How do I check cam timing?
What is the brace height and where is it measured ?
The Buck Buster is the 150# model and the Terminator is the 175#HP model.
Thanks in advance.

I place an arrow on the rail and measure to the middle of the scope tube, then add 1/2 the diameter of the arrow shaft. This will get you close enough for the program. Very little difference even when this measurement is off by some.
