There are a few different ways to mount depending on which crossbow you have and what year it was made. Can you post a picture of what mounting parts you have and a picture of the crossbow were the Steddyeddy mounts. If you do not have the right parts they can be bought from Tenpoint.

Someone on another forum mentioned taking the bolt and placing the nock end in a pot of boiling water for a few minutes. I tried this and it worked great. I left the nock end in water for about a minute and then took a pair of pliers and grabbed ahold of the nock and it slipped right out. I did this to four bolts so far and only one nock came out a little tough and marked up. The others came right out and the nocks look reusuable even though I wanted them out to added lighted nocks.
