For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive what is due him for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.

I have read some very good posts about this invention. This is good for the crossbow world. And as some have said, this is a very good thing for those to try out crossbows inside and in areas where unloading could be hazardous to some bystander. I noticed this while putting my hands on a few just a few days ago. Being a newbie to the crossbow, I would have loved to try the trigger mechanism before making my mind up as to which to buy. I also would have liked for someone to show me how to properly load the bow.
I have since ordered a Parker Cyclone. Would have loved to have pulled the trigger before purchasing. Just had to take others word for it. And we know that there are a lot of people whom we do not want to just take their word for it, even if we know them. We/I want to try it for myself before I spend $400.00 - $800.00 - $1400.00 on a crossbow. The crossbows are very expensive, to expensive I think. Just as are other tools of the trade, compound bows,rifles,muzzle-loaders.

Agreed a little pricey for the average consumer. Will be great for dealers.
Will be interesting to see how this one plays out. Like who else will be entering the "decocking" market?

But I can see some archery shops who can benefit from it MAYBE!!
But atleast people are thinking about such things which is a good thing.

You are correct that that Kodabow can be decocked, it very similar to an Excalibur, where they are both horizontal recurves as opposed to a bow with cams. The kinteic energy released is vastly different between recurves and cammed bows. Having said that, those types without cams require less strength to decock. Thanks for reading, Happy Holidays.

Kids, do NOT try this at home....
I can, all joking aside, see uses for a decocking device, and this one seems to work. I, personally, wouldn't need it with my Middleton!
