Hello all. This is my first post on this or any crossbow forum. I have been looking at all kinds of crossbows from all of the big players. I am decided on a recurve -vs- a compound for there simplicity. Before tonight I have never heard of Middleton before. I have read about all there is to read regarding Middleton in a short few hours this evening. I admire a small company that attaches a name and a face to there product in video and web site. Have yet to see this during my searches for a new crossbow till I fell apon Middleton. New York state in 2011 is going to allow the use of crossbows for gun and late season archery. I am going to replace my late 70's vintage Barnett wildcat (funny I know). I was wondering if anybody could ballpark me a rough price range for a DTM 375. Wouldnt that be a heck of leap forward from the old wildcat. With 2011 in my sights I am in need of a serious hunting crossbow and I think I may have found it. Any help would be great.

Hey Randy,  welcome aboard and I think you can find everything you are requesting here on the Middleton Website.

More direct is the USA MSRP link here

Good luck and these are very powerful and extremely accurate bows.

well there we go. Factory rep thread open again after two years.

I will be taking over sales duties for Middleton Crossbows, and helping out here on the CBN MIddleton forum. I will try and answer questions the best I can, if I dont know the answer, I will find someone who does.

If you have purchase requests you can pm me here, or email me at joelmaki622@hotmail.com

If you have past concerns or problems that require resolution, please pm me or email me.

My biz number is 905 523 4307. Please do not contact Derrick directly as part of my job is to insulate him from anything taking his time away from production related duties. If it is absolutely nec. to talk to Derrick, you can try and contact him, but I think you would be better off putting in a request through me.

Derrick is a fellow who wants to make the best hunting recurve bow available, and I am a crossbow freak who is pre-occupied with crossbow high performance and design. I am in the process of phoning all currently listed dealers, getting 2012 dealer pricing lists out, and performing resolution for existing concerns.

2011 was a very trying year for Middleton Crossbows, and we are addressing past problems one at a time and step by step, with the very worst now behind us. New production starts shipping this week.

Middleton Crossbow limbs...

For the very first time ever, Middleton high performance crossbow limbs will be made available to the general public for purchase.

Its my personal belief that perhaps the time has come for aftermarket high performance crossbow limbs and parts for those who desire higher levels of performance from their existing bow. In the economy we now have, not everyone can afford to go buy the latest and greatest. As time goes by we hope to be able to offer Middleton made limbs custom made for other brands, and even OEM manufacturing.

We already have one new manufacturer approach us for limbs, and hope that perhaps we can help out there and so provide the consumer with more choices. While I wont be so bold as to say we have the very best crossbow in the world,  I will say I believe we have some of the finest  high performance crossbow limbs you can purchase anywhere on the planet.

Currently we have the worlds fastest recurve crossbow doing an honest 375fps, and Middleton Crossbows MAY offer limbs up to 390fps+ for existing Middleton owners only, or offered on new Middleton made bows only.  For the Excal owners wanting a little more performance from their already excellent crossbow, our regular high performance limbs will be offered for drawlengths up to 15.5 inches. This will give them 225lbs at the trigger which is the highest recommended weight by the manufacturer.

The 400fps series IS in the works, with preliminary market research now in progress. With Middleton Crossbow undergoing re-organization to better serve customers and  dealers with improved communications (availability), our attention is now on production and building a standing inventory of both bows and parts so immediate shipment is possible.

I would ask that any questions for me be brought to this thread (or pm), so that I dont have to search multiple threads and perhaps miss those questions altogether. Regular office hours I will be on the phone a lot, but you have my email address. I often work late at night to get to correspondance, and depending on work load might take a day or two in getting back to you, but it will happen.

Until I complete contacting all the dealers over the next month an dealing with new orders and existing concerns, I will be very busy with all I have on my plate right now, but will do my best. Thats about all I can promise right now, and hope that as time goes by I will get more efficient and be able to answer and attend to things in a more timely and professional manner.

Thanx.  Mr. Joel Maki (aka Lightfoot) 905 523 4307. joelmaki622@hotmail.com

PS - my wife insists I take weekends off, or at least every other one LOL.

Effective immediately Thursday May 3rd, I will no longer be acting as the forum or  Middleton Crossbow rep. Not generally known but I recently had a few health issues to deal with.  In any case I need to take it easy for the next few months as recovery seems to be taking longer than I anticipated.

Thank you.
