My crossbow is rated at 305 fps w/420 g arrow. And I will for sure chrono it to see just how close the rating is. But my real Q is this: Do I need a target specifically made for crossbows or will my vertical bow tragets work? Seventy pound vertical bows IBO would have a 350 grain arrow so would not produce as much kinetic energy (I realize there are many other factors other than arrow weight). Also, I'm looking closely at comments on arrow withdrawal.
Thanks Ray

What kind of vertical bow targets do you have Ray? Some will work fine, but others fall a tad short.
Are you looking for field tip targets, broadhead targets, or one to do both?

You might give your vertical bow targets a shot or two from your crossbow. If they work, great. Like they say, the proof is in the pudding.
