Having had an excellent experience with the Limbsaver recoil pads for firearms, I purchased their dampening system for my split limb Quad 400. One of the buttoms popped off on the second shot. I used a two part epoxy and reglued it. After waiting several weeks to get back to the range, the other one popped off after three shots, and the one I reglued fell off the bow several shots later. These are suppose to be specifically designed to function with the split limb crossbows but obviously cannot take the vibrations these bows put out. Back they go tomorrow.

You are putting them on the inside of the limbs, correct?
Do yourself a favor and get the BowJax. WAY better than LimbSavers IMO.

Had the same thing happen with mine. I ended up going with the Bowjax. They are way better in my opinion. Good luck !!

They were positioned on the inside. Will take a look at the bowjax. Thanks for the tip.
Barnett does not make string silencers for the Quad 400 or I would have tried those.
Actually because of the terain I hunt, shots over 30 yards are rare and I am hopeing the speed of the arrow will make silencers unnecessary.

Limb saver makes a real good unit for split limbs. They will not come out and stay put very well. They have made a huge difference on my Crossman Teton, the pic is of a Predator just to show what they are.

I have the Sims limbsavers on both Wicked Ridge xbows and there is a noticeable difference. Haven't used the bowjaxx, so can't compare.
