The wilderness is not, by itself, a dangerous thing. It is, however, extremely intolerant of the unprepared.

Check out some of the gunsmithing catalogs, Midway, Brownells, etc., you will find some there for target pistols. Buy one of them, or take that idea and do your own thing. Could buy a Picatinny rail, mount to scope mount, add sights to Picatinny.
It can be done, and without too much difficulty.
Good Luck.
PM me if you have questions, be glad to help.

I hope you guys are havin a safe and memorable hunt so far! Okay so I'm back and as promised I said I would share the pics of how my 2011 Penetrator took to the Bad River Outdoors Crossbow Front/Rear Open Peep Sight. Wheew! Thats a mouthful. So, the sight is dailed in at 10yds and 20yds - thats a given. The range goes from 30 to 60yds and identicly like vertical bow peep sights, if you stay with the distance between dots, the xbow will hit the target at 70yds dead on!
Now I was assured by the CEO ED and his techs that they took very careful notes in order to have sped up the fabrication time to a more reasonable time frame. So for anyone of you who is considering the option of BRO's front/rear open sight that happens to own Barnetts shoot thru stirrup crossbow, take a good look.

I really like the way that looks. I'm interested in adding that to my Tac 10i.
