Hey everyone. I'm new to the Xbow world and just purchased a Excalibur Equinox with their Varizone scope. It should be here on Monday. In the meantime been doing alot of reading seems most are upgrading to custom strings?. I was making an order online and saw they had the "JBK" custom strings for the Ex's. They are served with .026 Majesty and I've read that is one of the 2 servings of choice for durability?

My question is........ does anyone have experience with these strings? Thanks for any feedback!!!!!!!!!

I've been using them on my vortex I got earlier this year. Congratulations on your Excalibur, good choice. I really love my vortex. I'm going to shoot it through a Chronograph this weekend hopefully but I'm close to 315 fps with a 427 grain arrow and a brace height set close to the line nearest the stock. I say around 315 because my tenpoint rangemaster pro scope has a speed dial on it and that's what it's set at. Will know for sure this weekend. Have about 300 - 400 shots on it est. From what I've read the higher poundage bows are harder on servings. compared to what I've read about other strings and using the JBK it is definitely a quality string. I'm curious myself about how often other strings need a twist to keep brace height because I've not read much on this. I've put one twist twice in my string to keep my brace height but I don't know if that's a lot or not.
