I just recently picked up a killzone turret xl. Definitely satisfied with the quality, I haven't put it through a season yet but my initial impressions are good. Lots of other people have talked highly about them.

I own two DBs and both are 5 plus years old. Both still look like new blinds with no holes, rips or tears in them. Remember that you get what you pay for.

I have used a Primos Vision Ground Max blind for the last four seasons.  Its large enough for two hunters and has good head room.  Visibility is 360 degrees with the sliding shoot thru mesh screens.  You can close off the window area with side panels that attach with magnets, and tapered buttons if it gets real windy.  There is also a panel on the roof that zips open to let additional light and air in or you could shoot out of if you need to.  Its easy to set up and to take down and comes with a canvas carry package.  I liked it so much that I picked up another one that was on sale at Cabela's.

Check out the Rhino XP-1. They are pricey like the Primos but it is a blind that will last for years. You get what you pay for when it comes to ground blinds.  You can get am inexpensive blind for $100 or less  and if you are lucky you will get more than one season out of it or you can go with a Rhino or Primos and get a few or more seasons out of it. It depends on what's in your wallet. I chose to go with longevity and purchases a Rhino XP1.

I have 5 Bigfoot Camo double chair blinds, They call them Jake Turkey Chair blinds. Been having 3 of them for 3 years and 1 has been out in the woods for about 18 months with no problems. Get them on ebay for 80 bucks shipped and cannot complain one bit. I was trying to bowhunt out of them but couldn't move around enough, but fits perfect with my crossbow or my carbine and I can take one of my kids with me. Very light and durable, sets up in 10 seconds and comfortable, I even bring my tripod and camera.

Dont buy the ameristep crossbones blind! Zipper strings fall off, gun rest fall out while shooting, lost 2 arrows due to this problem. Pockets are too far apart to hold the shooting (sticks) rest.

The Double Bull is the best. The Rhino close. The Primos not DB ones will turn colors and the zippers aren't that durable. The others lack features and quality. Life is too short to hunt out of a crappy blind.

That said with the xbow you will be amazed how well you can do without a blind. Each has it's advantages and time to use.
Joke of the week.............

I have had a double Bull for over 6 years.  The material is awesome...non/shiny, and it is super easy to set-up and shoot out of.  This spring I had a rod blow through  the material at the base of the blind.  I called Primos(New owners of Double Bull)and they fixed not only the bad limb-pocket , but replaced all 6 for free within 10 days.  I took the blind to a local canvas repair shop and they wanted $50. just to fix 1!  Great blind, Great company IMO.

I have the ameristep doghouse blind. This will be my 5th season hunting hard out of it. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles as all the others, but it is a quality blind at an extremely affordable price!

I have an XP-1 and Cut-N-Run by Rhino Labs and like both very well.
The Cut-N-Run is so lightweight, I use it the most, if it isn't raining.
Scorpyd Crossbows...Nothing else compares !
I'd rather kill with a crossbow than wound with a compound !
"Compound Bowhunters"...Why do you fear the more humane and efficient weapon ?

I have the primos double bull and just got a field and stream magnum hunter.
The double bull is high quality heavy duty.
The magnum will probably make it a season or two but it definitely ain't on par with the double bull.

I purchased a Ameristep Crossbones Crossbow Hunting Ground Blind
happy so far. I have had no problems with window rests. For the price it seems like a good quality blind...time will tell

The Die-Cut Camo Blind Material in 12ft by 60 inches has worked well for quick sets.  Lace a rope through the top edge  with enough on the tag ends to tie it.  I usually pick three saplings in a triangle shape, pointing in the general direction I have in mind and tie this blind material up and set behind it.  Works pretty good for quick sets.

Got my Primos Vision blind last year and found it to be great! Sat two men in it for Spring turkey season this year and had plenty of room. As soon as I got it, I water proofed the seams and had storms during Spring turkey season in Missouri. It didn't leak at all. Using it now for Texas deer hunting. If I needed a second blind, I'd get another one of these like Mike did!
