I like your design work ...I made this about 4 or five years ago out of old scraps I had around the building..legs fold up and can set up anywhere...has sighted in many rifles,pistols and now is sighting in my quad 400 and my brothers new Jackyl with no modifications at all..(why buy it when you can buid it) )...NICE WORK.

      I didn't realize that ...I was wondering why when I would shoot freestanding up from my porch the next day after using the rest I would be shooting about 3 to 6 inches lower .. from same distance ..That's why I need the Nation..I'm learning so much more than I THOUGHT I KNEW.

Yah, this is why I would add a holddown for the stirrup or riser, to help offset that.
