One of my bag targets (for field point) has had considerable use in it's two years of use, arrows were starting to sing past the fletchings at times. Used canned expanding foam, the kind used for filling drafty places, to bring it back to life. Inserted the novel into various holes in the outside fabric and sprayed until void filled. Let harden for several days and its good as new.
