The NRC passed the crossbow legislation today in Indianapolis and it needs to be signed by Governor Daniels to become law. Starting in 2012 crossbows will be legal in all archery season from Oct 1 - Jan. A great victory for Hoosier hunters. Woody Williams worked hard to make this pass.

Whoopee for those Hoosiers! I grew up in southern Indiana and remember when it was ONE deer per year. Good for them!

finally common sense and fact prevail over bias opinion. Indiana is usually last in game law changes, so i'm pleasantly surprised.

Specialized: as a lifelong Indiana hunter and crossbow hunter for 35 years (disabled hunter permit) would I be out of line to reflect what you said with a minor embellishment? Something like... It's nice to see that Indiana has finally awakened and smelled the gut bag? (Too graphic?) Naaa...

I wished that Kentucky would be next. Any one heard any good news about Kentucky following suit with Indiana ?
