Did anyone use shooting sticks or any other option for balancing bow when shooting?

""Does" anyone use........""

Nope...no outside help.  All me, two arms and a shoulder, with the rest of the associated body parts that are connected throughout.

I do....use a set I made out of scraps....also converted an old camera tripod into a shooting tripod...thanks to a little moleskin and a cutaway section of pvc pipe.....

Bought one for my buddy who is 71 years old and having a little trouble with offhand shots.

It is made by Winchester and sells for $10 at Wal-Mart.  3 extensions. Loop of fabric belting around the top to help carry and hold when deployed.  "V" at the top with rubber lining inside.  He loved it.

Went back and bought one for myself.

I use a Primos shooting stick. Squeeze the trigger and adjust from around 28" to about 60". Comes in real handy and makes me VERY steady. Most major sporting goods stores carry them. They sell for $40.

I am going to give it a try, shoulder surgery weakened my arm to the point I cant hold the bow very long to aim, I hunt from a blind also, just wish there was a way to connect them to bow and just drop legs when getting set up,

Thanks I will try them too, I work alot and sometimes rushing to stand and see deer want to stalk and be able to steady if need be, I think a steady shot is always a better shot.
