Hello all. Although I am new to the nation, I have been reading this site for quite some time now and I would like to share my most recent experience. I have spent quite some time trying to decide which bow to go with and on Monday the 19th of this month I tried to purchase a middleton bow only to run into problems with the dealer in North Carolina. I was informed that Middleton was no longer in existance and there weren't any bows to be had I decided to send an email to Middleton. That very afternoon I recieved a reply email from Derrick along with a missed phone call from him. We finally connected the following day on Tuesday the 20th and talked for a little over an hour. I found Derrick to be very knowledable and forthright long story short I threw caution to the wind and will soon be the proud owner of a DTM330. In this day and age, I appreciate the personal touch and professionalism exhibited by Derrick in contacting me and helping me out. Derrick thank you.

Derrick has always been helpful and courteous to me. You will definitely like how the bow shoots.

You will not be sorry that you went with a, Middleton !!! A very good, well made xbow. Good customer service, (from Mr. Derrick Middleton). The Middleton is a "dead serious", hunting xbow. I hunt a lot of dangerous game, and this is the only xbow I put my trust in.

Last animal taken,Asian Water Buffalo. 18 yard shot, complete pass-thru, taking out a rib on near side and a rib on the far side !! Ribs were appx two inches thick, each !! Xbow, -- Middleton custom 210 pounds.760 grn. arrow, --272 fps.!!!! Buff taken on 8/29/11

Gary - congrats on a successful hunt and good to see the buff didnt get ya. I now have a DTM355 but will have to wait for a new spiderweb 1.5 target to have some fun. Theres a rumour that you have a video of the hunt?

I cant get over how light it is. My Excal Paradox was just too heavy for me to shoot or tote around, but this one sure is a pleasure to bring to the shoulder and hold.

Just a few more items to pick up and I'll soon be shooting away.

The frame on the crossbow looks very thin right off the pistol grip.  How would such thin strips of plastic hold up on impact if you accidentally dropped the bow?

I know of no one who has ever had a problem with the xbow stock. Believe me, they are much tougher than they look.
You may want to ask Mr. Middleton if he has had any negitave feedback pertaining to the stock.
My xbows take a lot of abuse and with the execption of breaking a front sight from dropping a xbow out of the back of a safari truck, (doing 60mph) down a old rutted dirt road in the outback, I have never had any major malfunctions or issues with them. ---------  So Far !!!!!!!!
