TAC-15i with QAD HDX dropaway

Most of the mods are to make the TAC-15 more user friendly and hunter friendly. I have a very nice quiver bracket that is right and left handed but won't be done till next week.
I have improved the bracket for the QAD HDX that some of you guys have to make it easier to adjust and not touch the riser and give the pull rope plenty of room to work properly.
I also added a T/C Encore Pro Hunter forearm that makes the crossbow even more comfortable to hold than ever before.
I had Jesse at Viper-X string make me a set of cool strings and cables that should stay together better than factory.
I also am going to try some PTFE tape on the bottom of the string stop rails so that the cables do not get as worn by the machine marks left on the rail.
I am replacing the rubber string stops with much better quality ones.
I added split limb savers Quads or something like that.
I cut the Picatinny rail back and will be shooting three fletch.
I installed the Timney aftermarket trigger which I really like, but I will be trying a Jewel trigger just for comparison.
I'm sure there is a few things I am not listing here and will do so once I get out and do some shooting tomorrow.
If these mods work well, I will be offering them for sale possibly.

What I have copied I have refined and fixed things that did not work properly. Have YOU done any of these mods? Did they work right out of the box like say the T/C forearm? No, I guess they didn't. There are steps to take to make them work without fear of failing.
Has ANYONE put PTFE tape on the bottom of the rails so their cables would last longer?
Limbsavers have been around forever. All I am doing is including what I am doing to my particular TAC.
Ask bski about cutting the rail off. We talked about that over a year ago. He knows I've been tied up and when it was suggested to others that had the time and the resources, they did it. Many would not just because they did not want to chop up a $1600 crossbow and possibly void the warranty.
There are things about the Jewel trigger that might be an asset to TAC-15i users that you are not aware of. I am not going to post any of this until I test my theory.
I am here to help other TAC owners. If you want to blow smoke my way that is fine, I prefer you do so in pm's rather than directly on the forum. Thank you.

Hi Guys,
I know this is going to be unpopular, but I'm going to have to throw a bucket of water on everybody's behavior on this forum!
Super 91, we both know that the development of new customizations for these crossbows couldn't have advanced the way that it has without your testing and custom machining work. The problem is that you're getting defensive when many of the other members of the forum have between little and no understanding of the fact that a number of us have all been working on a number of these things during the coarse of the last year.
I'll take the hit for their lack of understanding, since I've never written an article of any type to explain what we stated a year ago. For the record, I stated that my belief was that as we participate and freely share information and technical experience amongst ourselves and with all other forum members, everybody gets smarter and therefore everybody advances in their knowledge and skill sets.
Since that time, we've had many members who have openly spent many hours collaborating with us through this and other forums, via e-mail and endless hours spent on phone calls as well. I don't think there's much, if any testing, that I've done over this period of time that Super 91 and one or two other members have not been aware of and involved to a large degrees. I know for a fact that even as you were in the middle of building and extension on your house (Super 91), we were still collaborating on everything from my test results to new and upcoming technical modifications that were needed to achieve better shooting performance results.
We've had members come to us with all types of problems, questions and possible ideas. Some of the better ones, we've taken and turned their ideas into realities. Others, we've proven through solid engineering testing and isolation why they aren't as good as initially proposed. We've jointly tested almost every decent manufactures products to provide our members with the goods and the bad points with these products, in an effort to prevent them from wasting their hard earned money on things that don't live up to manufactures claims.
My guess is that it appears that sometimes all we are doing is copying what somebody else has already figured out, but we want to write about it as though we originated the ideas.
My request, is that you drop the issue. I understand how it can get very sensitive, especially when we're putting in the type of hours, efforts and costs it takes to do this stuff, but remember that it's like an Iceberg, because 90 percent of it is underwater, therefore it can't easily be noticed or seen to those who are not tuned into it.
Authur,
Please try to refrain from the criticism on the forum because it's negatively productive and doesn't reflect the way in which most of the work and development results have taken place on the TAC15 product line.
Today, there are more people than ever who have graciously agreed to participate and get off the sidelines in these forums. The forum went from a useless pile of junk topics that supplied very little useful information over a year ago, to now containing a great deal of very useful technical information that most TAC owners can really use and relate to.
I realize that there was no ill intent in your comment to Super 91, but he has so many people coming to him for information or custom modifications to their crossbows, arrows, fletching vises and now arrow rests, that it hurts when somebody accuses him of copying the work of others.
The only time he does anything with other peoples work, is when he's going to add some new feature / functions that will improve the product in a major way. I can attest to this first hand since I've spent countless hours on the phone with him covering many of these modifications and ideas, in detail with him. I know that many other members have worked with Super 91 to gleam the benefits of his work. BSKI, WildWillie, Quadkiller and countless others have all been in close contact with him a number of times because of his thorough testing and analysis that have yielded fact based results, instead of just opinions.
What most readers don't know or realize is the fact that both of us are sometimes very busy and way overloaded and may not have time to write up the results of some of the more detailed testing and analysis work that we're involved with. On these occasions we often still communicate by phone with each other and as such, we will ask each other if the other one can get our latest information out to the forum thread, so the members can get the latest updates.
I happen to know for a fact that WildWillie, will be publishing a new thread on the forum that is unbelievably good. Although the work is all his, Super 91 was involved in some of the collaboration and technical assistance that went into it's production.
This has become a very solid working forum of TAC crossbow owners who all have a great deal to offer and it seems they enjoy helping each other. You all seem to offer each other ideas and technical help any time somebody posts a new problem they're experiencing, so again my suggestion is for everybody to be a little less sensitive and refrain from the negative remarks. Let's all try to act like the subject matter experts that we've become and not reduce ourselves to a bunch of bickering women.

I'm not sure if anybody ever told you that when using the QAD Drop Away Style Arrow Rest that you need to cock the QAD into the 80 degree load position before you begin cranking the crossbow back. It's the same when using the QAD on a compound bow.
This cocked position traps the arrow between the left and right side of the forks and prevents the arrow from escaping from either side or the top. Without pre loading the rest an arrow can slide off either side of the crossbow. The remaining 10% of the rest positioning isn't attained until you reach the full draw position.
