But let me not attempt the shot
Beyond my skill to make
For Lord they are your creatures
Given for our use
But each one falls within your sight
They're not for our abuse

Awesome prayer!  God is Good.  

On July 9th God spared my life.  While marching with my Vietnam Veteran Color Guard my heart stopped beating.  There was an EMT/Paramedic team less then 5 feet from were I went down.  They were able to shock my heart and get me started again.  Two days later they found a blockage that would have broken loose and killed me if not fixed.  Three weeks ago I had a ICD defibrillator implanted and long term I'll be back hunting and doing everything I did before real soon.  I can't draw my crossbow right now so I ordered a crank cocking device, once installed I should be good to go.

Moral of the story is God is Good! Thank him every day for the opportunity he gives us to enjoy our crossbows. Hug your families and enjoy life.
