Anyone hear anything about hunting with an xbow during archery season in Ct. or is it just rumors? Thanks for any input.

I'm not from Connecticut, but I'm certain that if the state had a regulation which permitted it, you should be able to go the the CT State DEC website and search under the section on hunting regulations t find something. Otherwise a quick call to them during the day hours would confirm any regulations that are in place or being considered.

In CT you can use a crossbow in the late Janauay season in zones 11 and 12 only on private land. I am fortunate enough to hunt these areas and look forward to using my C5 in the late January season.
I also own land in NY and cannot wait until they allow it on private / state land as well. Reading past reviews of the NYBHA and seeing the video of the meeting about the use / legalization of crossbows I question who's side are they on and if it is legal we should embrace the personal choice of weapon. STM.
