Anybody ever use these? I was in Dick's and they had them on a closeout and I bought a 6 pack cheap. I don't want to try them until I can find the weight.I am not having much luck that way and my beam scale for reloading is only good for weighing tips in the little pan.LOL

Throw a light rubber band in the pan and zero the scale. Or just weigh the rubber band then subtract that weight. Then attach the arrow to the pan with the rubber band and weigh them. You will have to find the balance point on the arrow, but your scale will work.

You can also replace the pan with a like weight material, then cut a "U" in it to place your arrow in.

I weigh mine on my beam scale all the time. If your scale is a 505, the 505+ grain arrows can be weighed seperate from the tip, then added together for overall weight.

Just some ideas.

Thanks for the ideas that ,would work just fine.I was out there last nite and pulled some bolts out of a box and saw the styrofoam little arrow channels and fastned it on the pan and deducted the weight like you mentioned. They actually weighed like 296 gr for 20'' with no tips.I had barnetts in 20's and cabelas stalker x bolts too.The cabelas were 300 or a little better but the barnetts all weighed like the gold tips.Kind of makes me nervous they say shoot 425 min out of my bow so I use 125 heads but I'm  still a hair light with even factory arrows go figure.
