You can use any of them with ok results. However with that being said for things like doe in heat scent code blue is the only one that actually uses a doe in heat to get the scent. If your wanting mock scraps check out the homebrew in the other post that I put up. It works really well.

A buddy suggested the apple "Buck Jam" to me. I've been putting it out in front of my trail cameras and they really seem to like it. I don't believe that it "attracts" deer in from any distance but it sure stops them in their tracks for some nice trail cam pics!

What are you trying to do?  If your trying to get pictures all the Jam's work and so does the Acorn Rage and those flavors too.  If your trying to get bucks try the urines around rut time.  I would really only use rut scents when your hunting for bucks and take out with you when you leave, Does leave as sooon as they smell other does ..in heat especially.  Grunting and Heat scents work very well during the rut.   Food scents and powders work well for all deer in the early season.

I bought some Smokey's Pre-orbital and inter-digital scent after reading a post on here. I been getting a lot of pics since doing so.

I have had the best results using Tonquin Musk and my own urine. Just and four or five drops of Tonquin Musk to four oz. of urine.

Buy the artificial musk from a trapping supply, the real stuff is very expensive.

I have yet to find a deer lure that, Really, works. Just stay clean and scentless as possible. I have found that peeing in a fresh scrape works pretty good. JMO.
It's not the kill, but the hunt, where memories are made.

Try the one I posted, $15.00 will last many years and it works from season start through the rut for Does as well as Bucks.

i live 12 miles from lake erie in the snow belt in n.e. ohio. from oct 25 thru thanksgiving i like using tinks. when your done for the day take the tinks with you. if you don't you are educating the deer. from xmas thru super bowl sunday i like using the local feed mills deer corn. it's a combination of corn, soybean, mollasses, salt, calcium, bonemeal, magnese and possibly a few more minerals. this stuff has a smell to it you would not believe. it pretty much guarantees you a shot. i only use it when there's snow on the ground. if poachers find your bait pile you just blew a huge hole in the deer herd. after the season ends or i'm tagged out if there's over 5 lbs left i take it with me. i'd perfer to leave a 100lbs but that could lead to a lot of dead deer.  i only use it when snows on the ground, that way i can make sure i'm the only one hunting in the area.

Do a search for trapper supplies, most of them carry it. Sorry for not seeing your post earlier we have had visitors.
