I tried real vanilla extract and deionized water as a cover cent last January.The first time I tried it a doe came in head held high sniffing like crazy down wind at 16 yards. I was sitting in a natural ground blind and thought I was busted but she kept coming. Dead deer I'm sold!!! She was sniffing for at least 20 yards before I took the shot at 16 yards.
