New Detachable Arrow Quiver For TAC Crossbows

As is often typical I like to test and bring forward new products that I believe are the best available after market products of their type. Today is no exception and I'm a bit excited for everyone to see this one, so let's get rolling.
As many of you may know, in the world of archery and compound bows there is a company out their that makes a quiver called the Vortexx 6 STX. If you've ever seen or used one of these quivers you know that they are considered the Rolls Royce of arrow quivers because of how well they are made and how smoothly they function.
They are virtually indestructible, Dead Silent and vibration dampening. They use a quick release lever that allows them to be put on or removed instantly and silently. Arrows are locked into the shaft holder and can not fall out or come loose based on the proprietary patented design. When you wish to remove an arrow for loading, you simple rotate the arrow shaft holder and the shaft will almost drop free without having to pull on it.
Until now, we have no crossbow mounted quivers to choose from since it hasn't been an option from PSE or anybody else when it comes to the TAC Crossbows. That's NO LONGER TRUE!!!!
Effective immediately I just finished testing and have mounted one of the Vortxx Quivers on my TAC15i and was hunting with it from my treestand yesterday. I made sure that I was able to put it through hell on the first day out by banging it against the tree while hauling my crossbow up to the stand with my rope. I also made sure I tangled my rope in between the arrows before hauling to insure that even with the weight of the crossbow against the arrow shafts nothing would come loose.
Once in the tree, it was a piece of cake to instantly remove the quiver, hang it and proceed to load my crossbow. When it came time to get down, I didn't baby anything. I simply reversed the process and let it all back down without so much as a sound.
The real beauty was the fact that when it came time to either go into the woods or come back out, I was able to put the crossbow on my back and not have to worry about a side quiver on my leg catching and tangling in the brush as I moved through. My hands were free and everything was as portable as it used to be with my compound bows.
Their are two versions of these quivers available and there are also two different brackets available as far as I understand. I'm currently using the single quiver bracket which can hold either the 4 arrow or six arrow Vortxx Quiver. The 4 arrow quiver does not have the rotating release so it operates very much like a standard bow quiver. The model 6 STX has the rotating feature and I'm in love with it.
The second bracket available is more of a Boomerang shaped bracket that is designed to support either two quivers or allows instant switching to either side of the crossbow. These quiver and bracket assemblies are designed to mount on the underside of your front Weaver style rail using four #10 x 24 x 1/2" Flat head screws. It takes about 30 seconds to attach your mounting bracket with just a screwdriver and your in business and ready to go. The brackets are powder coated to match the TAC crossbows and are taped to match up to the manufactures mounting holes.
For prices or more information on these quivers please contact Super 91, since he is the maker of these brackets and quiver systems.
Picture of these products will follow later this evening. Super 91 will post the pictures.

Tomorrow I'll post one more picture that shows my crossbow using the single quiver bracket and a Vortexx 4 arrow quiver. The four arrow quiver is not my favorite, but it's for comparision purposes. Don't get me wrong, it's good if you like smaller and more condensed quivers, but I prefer the extra ammo and the ease of arrow removal that only the 6 STX version offers.
I believe Bobs photo shows the 6 STX version and either the 4 arrow version. Only the 6 STX rotates for super easy arrow removal and easy loading. My photo will display the single quiver bracket and the 4 STX, which is lightest and the most condensed version of these quiver systems. I'll be in the woods before first light again, so I don't have time to do the picture tonight.

I almost forgot, if anyone is interested in contacting Super 91 for more information or pricing on these units, please e-mail him at bob.bowers@gmail.com. His prices are excellent for a quiver system of this quality custom made for these crossbows. I should have also mentioned that they will fit either the TAC15, 15i or the TAC10 series as well.

Hi Everyone,
Here are a couple more pictures that I promised the other day that I'd post. These are of the single bracket and the 4 arrow quiver. When I hunt, my personal favorite is this bracket with the 6 STX, which is the 6 arrow rotating quiver.

It's also one great working set up that makes getting everything into the woods and up the tree simple. I can now pop my quiver on and off my xbow in less than 10 seconds, so it's out of my crossbow case and onto my crossbow in 10 seconds and it's as solid as a rock. The same when I reach my tree stand and want to hang my arrow quiver on a hook.

Finally!!! There is a god!
In case everybody hasn't heard or doesn't know, I was informed that "New Dawn" will no longer be openly shipping their quivers to all the distributors around the country who used to sell them. The owner "Ken" has decided to take control back and bring the distribution back in house, to help control the rising prices.
Ken believes the middlemen are forcing the prices up too high, while forcing him to lower them to low. This means that while these quivers are an exceptional value in both quality and performance, they will be limited to only direct ordering.
The brackets are also a one of a kind in terms of the fact that you're the only person producing them, so as I've stated in the past, once they're gone, they're gone.
P.S. I'm using the same 6 STX Quiver on my Mathews Compound Bow as I use on my crossbow. I only switch arrows depending on
which one I'm taking in the woods that day.
Now if I could only get the weight of the crossbow down as light as my compound bow, I'd be in great shape!!!
I hope everybody has a wonderful Christmas and a Happy Holiday Season!
