Steve -

Might you be so kind as to let us in on where you saw this bow for sale..?
They currently only show three bows on their website, and the Fireforce isn't one of them.

They are a little more than 899. I see the sporting center that had that add changed the price upwards. I got one on a UPS truck and hope to have my hands on it monday or tuesday.  I get al my crossbow stuff out of Glennie MI Lone Wolf Custom Bows  John Maus....

That was my listing and I screwup the price. It was supposed to list for 999.99 . The are a 2012 bow and I have shot several with a 410 grain bolt and average 385-390 FPS. It has an 24 1/2 ATA and a 17.5" power stroke .That is 140-145# of K.E. If you have any questions just ask.

Yes and it works very well. You can find the Darton Mech cocker for $80 +/-

This crossbow is a tank in my opinion.  Had it in my hands at ATA.  Its pretty big and kind of heavy.  Didnt fit well.  Would not be on my short list for an xbow with "Huntability"

6" groups at 100 yards?  Robinhoods, Really?

IMO any crossbow shooting 400+ fps needs to be a tank.  These light speed demons seem to be prone to a lot of issues under this type of stress. Robust is the word, at least for now with the current technologies we are seeing.  Just like big magnum rifles are a little more robust and heavy than standard calibers.  A lot of the same principals apply.  Guys who carry big barreled magnum rifles are not stalking deer, they are sitting and sniping.  Same goes for tank sized crossbows.  Get to your spot and set-up for sniping, not sneakin and peekin.... Again, JMO.
