After last weeks adventure, I had to replace my water filter. After a couple days research, I decided on Katadyn's Hiker Microfilter. After fooling around with this unit, and watching their on-line stuff, I think I made a good decision. It is easy to use, easy to clean, and packs up nice and small in it's own little bag. They even provide a small zip-lock bag for your outlet hose to prevent contamination. Check them out on-line, or at Cabela's.
