Nice deer. And thanks for your service to the country. I wish you were closer as I shoot right out my back door. I got 6 acres and the San Juan Nation Forest starts less than a half hour drive from my place. Good luck in finding a place to shoot. It doesn't have to be a bow range or anything. You are only shooting 50 yards and as those above have said a grain sack stuffed with rags or crushed plastic bags will stop arrow.
