Will a Middleton riser and limb bolt onto a Excalibur frame rail without modification?

I am thinking about creating a hybrid Exomax with Middleton limbs.

I want the extra power but will not ever use a thumb hole stock.

Thanks.

Good luck!  I tried to purchase a set of limbs from Mr. Middleton, with several emails coming to me from him stating he was sending them.  Two months later, no limbs.  I cancelled my order.

I am sure the limbs will fit but will the riser line up?

I want to be able to just swap them out.

From what I have read, everything is interchangeable on the two bows, so I would say yes.  But don't get your hopes up on getting them.  I was pretty ticked off for being led to believe I would receive the limbs, through emails sent to me.  Then suddenly the emails stopped and I got no answer from inquiries I emailed to him.  I even sent him my credit card #, but nothing!

So, I guess the rumours are true.

Sent an email to middletoncrossbow@gmail.com on Nov 16th asking if I could buy parts and offered to pick them up since I work in the area and NO response.

Jeeptag a all:

Many on CBN know that Derrick has been helping me with my new bow designs. Believe me when I tell you that Derricks lack of communication lately is confusing to say to least. BUT, I also know that after family, nothing is more important to Derrick than the bows he builds, or the customers and clients he takes care of.

Middleton crossbow is not a large corporation. The bows you buy from him are just about all hand built and assembled and tested by him personally. When a customer has a problem he goes out of his way to make sure they are taken care of. Just recently he passed up a meeting with me to take care of a customer and showing up on that customers doorstep.

He cannot feed his family unless he takes care of business. I also know that if something happened in his personal life that required his utmost attention, then would deal with that problem in the same way.

I live in Hamilton and have a brand new Middleton. If the limbs are an issue for you, just stop by and pick them up. When Derrick is back into the swing of things, he can bill you for them and replace my set of limbs when he can take care of business again. I prefer to use my torsion stuff anyhow.

I have a living room fulla bows and wont miss the limbs for a good while. Just pm me for my address, and then jump in your car. The limbs are brand new, and I have shot the bow only once for penetration tests. If you like you can test shoot the limbs before taking them.

Ya' know what?  I hate to beat a dead horse here, but once again I'm reading posts that have that same familiar ring to them.  People wanting to order, sending emails to the owner as directed, or even trying to find someone else to order from, but no results.  Then when someone like myself questions this, or complains about it, all the FOM's (Friends of Middleton) come running to answer for him, directing the complainers to "Send me a pm and I will help you."

And then I'm the one that has to be given the "benefit of the doubt" for complaining???

ATTENTION:  If I wanted to purchase a Middleton Crossbow, or a riser and limbs, tell me how to do it.  And before you ask me to send you a pm, why not save us all one step and just send me a pm? I would be happy to read it and get the information on where to purchase one, as it seems the original poster can't get an answer from the owner himself.  So send me a pm with some information.  I might even buy it from you if you're just a FOM.

Well, monies kinda tight right now and I could use the bucks, but it was a gift from Derrick. Havent seen him for a couple of weeks. He shows up when he has time, picks up a bow or drops one off. My health aint that great so if he has a cold or something he wont come over til he's better and if he has time. Thats all. I do consider myself a FOM or hope so....

Not to beat a dead horse or anything as well. Seems people are only thinking about themselves when it comes to purchasing their toy. People do have problems and complications, even CEO's and suppliers. Seems if someone wanted a toy that bad they would be understanding or just move on. Complaining gets people no where, just creates problems. Patience and kind words seems to be arising from FOM people. I wonder what would be said if FOM were not to voice up?  I'm pretty sure friend of "?" whatever didn't become friends from complaining and talking bad of them. Haven't bought a Middleton "yet", but I cannot stand the people that constantly bash them. Get over it and move on with your bad selves if you don't have the patience to understand or wait for what you want. I'm sure I will be pleased no matter how long I wait when the time comes. By the way, their warranty supper seeds any on the market, why complain when this is the case? Shut up, take kind help, or ship out.  Simple!!!!

I'm sorry, should I be thinking of you or someone else who posts here when purchasing my toy?  When the toy is advertised for purchase but folks like the OP get no response, is it really being selfish to complain?

Yes, I would imagine it creates problems....for the company selling the product.  But hey, that's what consumer reviews are all about, to warn other people of problems.

I'm sorry, but I wasn't aware that purchasing a product was for the purpose of making friends with the manufacturer.  And I've been plenty patient!

What am I not understanding, and at what point does patience end?  Maybe you will be pleased no matter how long you wait, but if you're not an FOM, I'd imagine you'll be joining the OP club several months from now.  I will mark the calendar to see!

I wouldn't know how good their warranty is until I first had their product in hand and was able to use it.  What good is a warranty on that toaster that never arrives, from a toaster-maker who won't reply?  But if you want to defend such a warranty and tell others to ship out if they don't like it, then you go right ahead.  But all you're really defending is thin air!

I too have a way with words!

For what it's worth, I ordered a DTM 315 from Arrowhead. Started end of November by inquiring of them and placed an order for one. Yeah it took a little bit of time to get, and it would be in my hands right now if I was home when the mailman came by today (I was out hunting), so now I have to wait a little longer 'till Monday to pick it up. But I am excited and will report on how I like it (or not).

BTW I don't know Derick and have not ever even spoke with him. I liked what he has to offer and decided to get one.
