I have done some research and the largest net 8 point is 180 3/8". Just curious if anyone has access to finding anything out on this.
If this is the case my 8-point should overtake it.

From what I can find...the world record eight-point was killed in Michigan by Vic Bulliner...shot with a rifle on 11/16/2001...it had a green score of 184 1/8

That buck green scored a gross 184 but only netted 180 3/8" dry score.
My buck gross green scores 186".

Thank you for the update. I was unable to find the net score......for some reason.....everything I turned up only mentioned the green score.....maybe that data was recorded prior to the drying time finishing.....
any chance you'd post pics of this monster u killed?

The biggest 8-point on record netted 185. It was poached in Cannon Falls, Minn. in 2009.
