Last Wednesday, I stopped for a few minutes on my way out of work and to talk to a
co-worker.  On my way home, I get a phone call from my wife...who, very excitedly...says "Where are you?"...(of course, my first instinct is that there's something wrong)....very predictably, I ask..."Why? Whats wrong?"....to which she replies..."There's a HUGE buck in the backyard chasing does"....(it was warm that day...and when it's warm, the does will still come into my yard and graze....)...I was about 5 minutes from home at that point...I get home....walk up the driveway...only to find that the buck has disappeared in search of love...(or his idea of it)...my daughter took a picture...had I not stopped for that conversation...I'd have had a crack at this:

Don't feel too bad. Remember that old saying "IF a frog had wings, he wouldn't bump his butt everytime he took a step"! If you were meant to get him that day, you would have. Bet there'll be other chances if he's in that area.

I know...I had a good laugh about it....my wife's 'frantic' phone call was the funniest part of it....I couldn't believe that he stopped long enough for a photo....almost looked like he was posing!!!!

He was posing!  He knew that the only thing they could "shoot" him with was a camera!!

Just wait He'll be back.  Good luck getting him.

Looks like all you need to hunt is your crossbow and an open window in the house. Oh yah You need to be home.
