Don't worry....Bowtech is getting better at this "customer service" thing! Wether they want to or not! Sorry to hear of this latest BT debacle. Keep us informed of how things go!

I would like to know what people do to there crossbow! I have strapped mine to the front of my fourwheeler and road 10 mile. Hunted all day, strapped it back down and road home. I left mine cocked over night after hunting all afternoon with it cocked and went out the next day! I have dropped it off the back cargo box on the back of my fourwheeler and have had no troubles with it! I used, abused and it just asks for more!!!! I havent babied it by any means. hell I havent cleaned it since I bought it in April!!! Who put it together for You? I wonder if the screws were over torqued? Seems odd since its the first one Ive heard. I bet if it dropped and landed on buttstock from a stand it might break? What kind of scope are you using?

My friend Danny from crossbowmalaysia set it up for me. I bought it from them as i am in malaysia it happened to my friend too i don't think it was over torqued cause all three of the screw area seems to crumbled like it was brittle. i epoxied the screw area with a steel holder and attached it back while waiting for the replacement it seems to work fine at the moment. the scope i am not too sure there's no brand on it it came with the package but i attached a laser on to the scope and within 30 metres it is quite accurate.

Im sure it could happen, I have just been bruttle on mine, I feel it got a lifetime war. it better hold up. I plan on huntin with this crossbow for the rest of my years and it better hold up! I would be pissed if this happen to mine, especially if it was Bowtech's fault! I would call everyday till something was done!!!

well the dealer told me the replacement is on the way as long as they replace it i am fine with it actually i think with the steel plates i epoxied on i think it is more durable. Just my thoughts. I like the way u done up the quiver the position looks way much better than the original ones. How did you modify it?

Anyway i am new to crossbow, i used compound bow before but after a nasty bike accident and three nuts on my shoulder it is kind of hard for me to use compound bows after a few pulls my muscle kind of get sore.

I used a Kwickie Hi-Rise bracket and made another bracket out of alum. stock. I seen a few guys have used the G-5 mount system too.
Im sure if you look on previous post you will find what I used. Moon is a great guy for advice, the guy knows crossbows! Look on older posts on Bowtech.

Too bad about the stock.  Bowtech should take care of it promptly.  Nothing worse than buying a new toy and having it break too soon :(

Hey jase33, do you use a horton red hot case for your 380? It sure looks like what is under yours in your pics, just curious. I need a case for mine but really dont want a giant hard case for it. I like the soft cases and thats really all I need and perfer!

Came home from afternoon hunt yesterday to find that the front end (left side) of SZ 380 stock broke off!!!  It's. Been very cold like 3 degrees two days ago but I did not hunt with crossbow until afternoon low 30s... From what I'm reading similar has happened to other SZ owners. Seems still shootable, guess I'll go back to pro shop right after bow season ends...

Not good......I was looking at the SZ 380 to purchase. Now I don't know what to buy. I have a Tenpoint Titan but was looking for more speed than what I'm getting. Maybe I should just keep my Titan and be satisfied.
