Found the piece that broke off front of stock at base of treestand. Not sure if it came off while shooting a doe on monday, or on Tuesday while resting it on shooting rail of treestand? May try to glue it back on. Any suggestions as to what adhesive to use?
Thanks,
Thanks,

Tommy, can you post a photo of the broken part? I'd take it back to the dealer.

No damage control required. One stock broke out of thousands of crossbows sold.......damage control????
I'm pretty sure it was either the 380 or 350 that bit a plug out of my cat's leg.
It was probably the auto safety that did it.

Here's pic. As you can see it's the tip of the stock that broke off right at the screw.

Wow! That's amazing. Do you see any voids/holes in the area where the 2 parts came apart? Both yours and the other stock that broke were at the screws. Knowing how tough this material is, my first thought is excessive bolt tightening but it could be something going on with voids in the material. They should replace the stock.

Tommy, I sent photos to Bowtech to see what their response will be. I'll get back with you. In the meantime I think your dealer should be able to take care of replacing the stock. I do think the stock screws can be over tightened. These crossbows are very smooth shooting with minimal vibration so there is no need to stand on those screws when tightening. JMO:-)
