For Cold temp boots 35 degree's and below I use Irish Setter By red wing #3889. They have 2000g of thinsulate and work great in 15 to 35 degree weather with the right socks as your feet will sweat if you do much walking. I also use Fox socks #7014 which is 85% Merino wool which can keep your feet warm even if you sweat and are not itchy at all. The combination of the two are awesome for still hunting like we do in cold weather. On the fox socks link under the sock finder I put 20 degree and below and snowmobiling. Here's a few links.

For gloves down to 40 degree weather I use Rocky ProHunter Synergy Glove (0605058) which is 40g of thinsulate. I have found they are thin enough you have great trigger control and are scent and water proof . I do want to get a set of there Rocky MtnStalker Waterproof Glove (605887) which is 100g of thinsulate. Hopefully they will work as good as my boots do when it gets really cold. Here's a link to the gloves.

For cold weather head gear I use Cabela's Scent-LokĀ® Fleece Balaclava. It has a adjustable pull string in the back (like a fold up lawn chair going into the bag) It works great in weather 40 degree's and below.

When it's cold start with good modern technology long underwear. Shirt next, then a goose down jacket over that if it's below freezing or thereabouts. On top a quiet, lightly insulated camo parka, waterproof if there's a chance of rain. Insulated camo pants if it's cold, uninsulated if not, waterproof if it might rain. Everybodys feet are different to some degree as to what's required insulation wise, I like to have one pair that's at least 1600 gram thinsulate and not too hard to walk in if it's below 25 or so, another pair with light insulation for 25-40. I love smartwool socks, keep your feet dry and warm and you can launder them like any other sock. Keeping your head and neck warm go a long way to keeping you warm, an insulated pullover headcovering that won't inhibit your hearing and a hat with a bill so you can look toward the sun and shade your eyes and a neck gaiter will do a good job. Not clothing but I use hearing muffs that amplify sound over my hat if there's not too much wind, it's alerted my to deer that would have slipped in on me unawares many times and it keeps your ears warm. If you've got much of a hike in or what you've got is uphill a small backpack with some of your clothing in it, your head and neck warming gear, and other gear you need will keep you from sweating and the resulting cold that follows as you cool down after sitting for a while. A warm pair of gloves, the right one off and in my pocket so I don't have to try to keep it warm with a less than warm glove or take it off to shoot or it it's really cold a light glove in my pocket so I can shoot with it on when I take it out of my pocket. You'll get so you know what changes to make mostly under the parka based on wind and temperature.
