After 4+ decades with vertical Bows,do to a arm injury, I've purchased my first Crossbow. Any information that you may have on a 150# Black Max would be greatly appreciated. I've gotten some information on the Specifications from Parker Site which makes me think that it was made 2003-04 and it's pretty much the same as a Safari Magnum but with a Black stock. I've spent hours trying to find any other information.

Well, I finally got to shoot my Black Max (150# Safari Magnum). Dialed right in at 20yds. After several shots, I started to have a lil trouble with the Trigger not wanting to fire consistantly. I would reset the trigger with a Rope Cocker several times and then it would fire. After removing the Trigger group to inspect it I discovered that most likely the ADF wasn't getting pressed down by the arrow consistantly. Do I need to press the back of the arrow down each time to assure that it's disengadged the ADF mechanism?
