Just purchased a PSE TAC 10 upper package on Ebay (scope, 6 arrows, bipod) for $1,099.  Looked like a decent deal. I'll attach my current AR lower.  I'm a proud Parker and Telson 130 owner but I've been intrigued by the capability of the TAC series.  Purchased the 10 because I can have more fun on my current crossbow rated "Block" vs the fear of ruining fletching all the time like with my Scorpyd Telson 130 (390 fps).  I'll ask "firenock" to build me some more arrows too.

-bought the TAC 10 EXACTLY because it will be discontinued.

-I've got space in the safe beside my Ruger Deerfield 44 Mag and a Winchester 30-30 ... both discontinued.  

-Big thing now is to email firenock to make a dozen arrows for me.

UPDATE: Ordered the 10i instead.  Received it yesterday put it together and got ready to site-in today.  Drawcord wouldn't release.  Disassembled the "upper" and found the small metal arm inside the upper is broken at the base.  Looks like cheap pot metal but that's beside the point. I'm disappointed in the distributor Wyvern Creations and PSE for delivering a broken product.  I email'd them and will see how and if they respond.

I'll continue to update.

You stated you bought it off e-Bay, chances are the people selling it knew it was defective. Hopefully it was a dealer, and they stand behind it or e-Bay makes it right by letting you send it back.

Yeah Wyvern Creations LLC stood by their product.  They answered my email and recorded msg and called me back on my cell w/in 4 hours or so.  I was a little shocked when he said he would send the part via FedEx! He knew the part I was talking about too.  It's a tiny little guy that looks fragile and cheap.  I don't care... Wyvern is taking care of me I'll do biz with them again.  At some point I'll post a pic of the broken part before I send it back to them.

I'd post multiple pics if I could figure it out.  I think I've figured out how to post ONE pic.  Here's the bottom of the broken upper:

Doesnt the old one just come as an upper,and the new one sold as complete??????I wouldnt mind having the old one as an accessory for my AR....Do you have to register the new ones lower as a fire-arm????

"TAC 10" is the entire upper crossbow assembly and you Add your own AR lower trigger group the same way you add the upper AR firearm portion.

The "TAC 10i" is totally different... it is joined to the upper crossbow assembly and the has a built-in "lower" and a very small "upper assembly" (the one I show in the pics).  You can't separate the "lower" on the 10i and use it as a firearm.

here's a pic of my TAC 10i beside my AR.  The TAC 10i looks much larger because it is in the foreground.  The actual size difference isn't as big as it appears.  Schneep, notice the small six-inch piece below the crossbow - that is the top of the upper assembly...the scope mounts to the top of it.
