I am trying to decide which one of these to get.  I haven't seen much on here about the DTM315.  What is the best arrow weight and tip combination for both?  And I'm not that tall (5'8") would I have a problem cocking the DTM330?  Any help would be appreciated.

Just ordered a 315 myself. Here is my logic:

- 315 is fast enough, faster is nice but 315 is more than adequate.
- easiest to cock
- easier on servings
- quieter
- shorter, more compact
- lighter physical weight
- lighter draw should result in a lighter trigger pull
- less strain should give longer life to all components

When I get it I will report how it performs

Jonboy,
Todd's reasoning is sound. As far as being able to cock the bow, Middleton sends an adjustable cocking rope if you purchase the package. You'll have to buy one as an extra if you're just buying the bow. I think you would be happy with a 400-425 gr. arrow. It'll give you good speed plus decent K.E. So, it's up to you. A little more speed for a little more weight & length.

Todd did you order a package deal or just the bow?

Just a bow but with the peep sights. A personal preference.

well...I finally made a decision. After much agonizing over the many sweet options... I opted the middleton dtm315. Didn't get to shoot one, but hey, i've gotten a motobike and car sight unseen via ebay and turned out great, maybe it's good karma?:)
Anyway, deciding factors for me were the light weight, all positive feedback, maitenance simplicity and performance, which isn't smokin' fast, but plenty for north america. My wife will also be able to use easily, even when we hike a mile up a 1000' mt, just to shoot and drag a deer back out!

Hope it will be as sweet as everyone hypes!!

I think we made a good choice. Mayby we can compare notes after we receive and shoot them.

Hey, how or who did you order yours through, I may be having some difficulties getting one if canadian shops can't ship to here in georgia.

looking to get a dtm315 but due to stocking issues I could end up w/ 355, but also wanted as option for wife who is now pulling 50# matthews and wondering how is the draw with cocking rope on these for a shorter, weaker hunter? I saw the rope cocking cheat video middleton made and that seems like it would be a great help?
