The recurve style has a large and loyal following. Middletons limbs are so advanced his crossbows can be continuously dry-fired. Now how does that matter you ask? Well if you ever have a nock break, or don't have your arrow tight against the string, which happens to the best of us, your compound will more than likely blow. Meanwhile, a recurve shooter will more than likely be able to keep hunting.
All machines break down. Simple machines break down less frequently. Simple fact.

I already know all the advantages/disadvantages of them, just wondering what you could do to put the xbow industry on its ear with one...............Maybe something in the rucurve industry not the compound world!!!!

However, for those who are truly passionate about the sport and hunger for performance, what's coming will certainly
satisfy. As for how I know, Derrick is a personal friend and has made me privy to it's development. You won't be disappointed.

Im sure I could describe it pretty accurately...theres another Middleton proto sitting in my living room in the corner. Another two or three protos for other manufacturers scattered about my living room and hallway.
Derrick has been privy to all my designs and ideas, and has some nice ones of his own. We are both very passionate about performance and anything to do with crossbows.
Please be sure to keep anything told in confidence, off the forums but yes it should be game changing. If working together we have enough goodies on tap to release a new product every three months for a good number of years if we wanted to.
The one Derrick describe to you (if only one)ought to keep things hopping trying to play catch up for a good while. Coupled with Middleton lightweight platforms it will be tough to beat no matter who you are.
I dont care what BT or PSE or whoever comes out with. We got you covered. see ya at the ata.
Thank you.

how about a Middleton compound design(s) with the simplicity and ruggedness of a recurve? 2012. Can it be done?
