Muzzy has decided to enter the crossbow market with a crossbow specific broad head called the CrossKill. These new heads will be offered in 125 grain and 150 grain versions. With the reduced blade surface and stainless steel ferrel, Muzzy claims these new broad heads will fly just like a field point even out of crossbows shooting 400fps!!!!

Good to see. I swore by Muzzy from my first two compound bows then swore at them as I tried to get them to fly from my Mathews Outback...which never did happen, wound up using Steel Force since then with great results. I'll ALWAYS see how a head flys from my rig before hunting with it & prefer fixed heads- glad to see Muzzy going this direction- I'll try them once I decide which xbow I'm going with.

seem to resemble the Muzzy MX-3 125 gr. broadhead which alright with me they have treated me pretty good this year with my Horton TRT ultra lite.shoot hole for hole off sand bags at my range which is 30 yds.

Is it a optical illusion or is the blade left offset? I have always had good lick with Muzzy broad heads.

UL since you shoot a bunch have you found diffs between xbow specific broadheads vs non-specific xbow heads or is this just smart marketing hype?

While I have never used Muzzy before its always a good thing when they jump into the mix with crossbows.
I have just been a Steelforce fan when it came to fixed blades.

Yep, all head manufacturers are saying "fly just like field points" which is misleading in most case because they don't hit where matching weight field points hit, using the same arrow. Nice looking head:-)

Can someone explain the difference between the crossKill and the standard 3 blade muzzy? Other than the fact that the crossKill costs twice as much.
Broadhead research can be confusing.

Only real difference I see is that they are heavier. Surely there's something more to it for the significantly increased price.
