Has anyone tried the New Archery Products F.O.C broadhead? Is 170 grains to heavy for the TAC15 spline? Wouldn't 170 grains be to much weight in front of center?

Hi s70897B,
The short answer is Yes, way to heavy to maintain a good F.O.C.   For the record, a 100 grain broadhead produces an FOC of 12.3%. Since it's recommended that hunters maintain an FOC of between 10% and 15%, that's about where you would want to be. This doesn't mean you can't go heavier, but it's not optimal because the more weight you keep adding the more it will magnify flight problems.

With the new bolts from Fire Nock you can keep your over all weight and FOC close to factory bolt specs.
