I will be purchasing one of these soon for feeding deer during the winter months here in Michigan.

I have a ground blind about 20 yards from my feeder, so far this year I've taken an 8 point buck, two does and three turkeys from that blind.

My hunting partner and I set up at 30 yards from the feeders in very well concealed ground blinds.

I have all mine 20 yds. I have killed deer at 10 yds. One of my stands is a 16 ft tower stand with a feeder at 20 yds. With winter wheat planted all out in front of me. The plot is not over 50 yds out. Up to the bottom of stand. I like my shots no more than 20 yds.

Mine tower stand is 4ft wide 6 ft Long the tin comes down so rain can't blow in. No windows I wish. Tons of room to hunt out of.

Set it up at your confort range for shooting. The closer to your stand the better, but scent and movement are criticle factors the closer you get.....Poindexter

My feeder is 18 yards from my ground blind and today, I had 2 small bucks feeding at and around it. they stayed there for about 20 minutes before they walked away, at one point one was about 10 yards away looking into the camera,, I call that a seccessful hunt.
