We've suffered a great loss today.  My father-in-law, who treated me more like a son than a son-in-law, passed away from a heart attack.  He was hunting out of state, walking to his blind, and he just could not go any further.  He was one of a kind.  He was a great husband, father, grandfather, and friend.  He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.  My wife is devastated, as are all of us.

Children, hug your parents...parents, hug your children.  Everything you think you know can change in the blink of an eye.

I'm doing okay although this body I am in isn't doing so hot. But the Lord is giving me a new one, so why worry about it?

I'm so sorry for your loss there Briar. Like Gino said, at least he passed doing one of the things he liked doing. If you or your family need anything, I'm just a phone call and a short ride away so don't be afraid to call or feel like your imposing because your not. Prayers headed your way my friend.
