Don't know much about them yet, but Victory will have a new crossbow shaft called "Voodoo".  For raw shafts they are going to be priced around $55.00 a dozen.

Specs? Grains per inch"? Spine stiffness? Straightness? Insert options?

i'm waiting for these too to try.  Like the idea of 2 point contact, but be interesting to see how they handle wear from the rail. Does anyone know what the nock and middle piece are made of?

Oldtimer......First of all...welcome to the Nation.  As far as I know, you can cut down your 2219's....just make sure to outfit them with the proper nocks (capture or moon) and weigh them to be certain they make the minimum weight limit as defined by Parker.  If you're going to practice with them, hunt with them.  IMO...not the best idea to practice with one arrow and hunt with another....

The nock is made from aluminum, the insert I think is stainless, I believe the spacer in the middle is aluminum too.

I think we all have a lot to learn about these.  I also believe there may be issues with shooting these out of some very popular crossbow models.

As always time will tell and Im looking forward to UL getting his hands on some of these so he can give us the real skinny.

I will have to agree about possible issues. On my SZ380 I have noticed that the plastic nocks have flat spots wore on the out side edge where it hits the rail. Now run a aluminum nock down it and I can see both the rail and the nock being wore pretty good. I do not like the idea of metal on metal.

I agree, the Horton Vision and other models with the interupted channel will not be able to use these arrows. That bulb in the middle will need to ride on a perfectly smooth channel that does not vary.

Not to mention the possible wear issues in the rail where the bulb and outsert typo nock rides.

One thing I have not seen mentioned is, how tough are these going to be to pull out of a foam 3D target, or any othe target for that matter? I am sure my Scorpyd would drive those Voo Doo/Death Nails well into the targets enough to lock that bulb inside. Of course if they do not penetrate as far as that bulb, they should be very easy to pull out, using it for leverage.

Another concern, is how long before that bulb on the shaft going from 350-425 FPS to ZERO in a target, is it going to stay put on the shaft? It will be interesting to se how this all plays out in the real world.

Got to shoot one out of my StrykeForce today and it held up well. I get 145# of KE out of my system and this bolt add to penetration {which is not always a good thing} I am on the fence right now. Seeing how it flyer's out at long distance will be the deciding factory.

I have the Parker Tornado, and presently use but expensive Parker Red Hot arrows.  My experience is that once I had the
Tornado dialed in for dead on, all my shots out to 50 yards were dead in the bullseye.  I don't care what arrows come
out now, as I am extremely happy with this arrows accuracy.  They may be expensive but I love the speed and accuracy of
this arrow, and will be buying more.  I also like the capture nocks, that come standard.
