Carbon Express has a new crossbow arrow coming out for 2012 called the "Blue Steak".  They will have blue lighten nocks installed.

It is my understandings that some people that are color blind find blue a bit easer to see. Some scope manufactures have taken note of this and will be producing more options with blue illumination.

Well seen them and shot today. They will end up selling for 59.99 for a 5 pack with 2 Blue lighted nocks. They have a BLUE outsert{field point/broadhead} and would like to see how it effect durability.

The weight of the arrows shown on their website states 415 grains. Think that is the total weight with a 100gr point or just the arrow alone? I'm also wondering if the lighted and non-lighted nocks weigh the same.

that is with a 100 gr point.  the 22 in. arrow weighs 441 gr with the lighted nock. the lighted nock weighs 32.8 gr.  over on at somebody weighed there 20 inchers at 410gr with a regular nock. foc is 15% with a 100gr field point on the 20 incher.  that's all i got.

I have a couple sets of these they come with regular blue nocks plus two lighted blue nocks per pack of 5. They seem to be the same bolt as the parker red hot bolts you just seem to trade the 6th bolt for two lighted nocks. They shoot great if you like the red hot bolts you will like these also and the blue blues look even nicer to the eye with the carbon weave.
